Who: Becky and John

Their story:

It was a wedding that radiated loudly the love these two have for each other. When you are with Becky and John, you can sense their ease with each other, their teamwork, shared sense of humor and adoration for each other. This love was so affirming to witness. While Becky claims she is the romantic in the relationship John’s heart was beating outside of him throughout the day.

The day was full of personal details - my favourite was how they had their ceremony music recorded by friends - which was appropriate because of Becky’s profession as a music teacher. More importantly, though, were the deep personal connections and long-term friendships that were on display. Both the bride and groom had their best friends since elementary school travel to be at the wedding.

While the weather didn’t give us summer heat, being nestled inside gifted us a feeling that suited these two well-loved people - the feeling that we were in a living room with relaxed and joyous friends and family, and all that joy was wrapped up in deep gratitude for being together.

Everything about this day was exactly how it should be - it felt perfectly right, just like John and Becky.
